A great facial mask is a wonderful treat. Done properly it can exfoliate, hydrate, and tighten pores. There are some rules you need to know about, however. Masks should never be done on a daily basis. They can be very drying and can really strip the skin down.

Consider a mask as part of your once a month body work over. For all masks, apply evenly on your skin and let dry for 15 minutes, no more, then gently rinse them off with tepid to slightly cool water. Pat your skin dry and apply your favourite moisturizer.

Firming Mask
Whisk together:
1 tablespoon honey,
1 egg white,
1 teaspoon glycerin (available at drug and beauty stores)
White Clay

Add enough white clay to form a paste, then smooth over face and throat. Leave on 10 minutes and wash off with warm water.

Moisturizing Mask
1 teaspoons honey,
1/2 teaspoons milk,
2 teaspoons plain yogurt

Smooth over face and throat, leave on 10 minutes and rinse off with warm water.

1 teaspoon of Aloe Vera Juice or Cucumber Juice
1/2 teaspoon of Grapeseed Oil or Jojoba Oil
1 drop of Geranium Essential Oil

Mix ingredients together, using enough Witch Hazel or water to make a spreadable paste.
